A change of direction mid carving took me down a new creative path. I started with the idea of creating another in the Erosion series using the shape of the starting stone and the part way through I saw a head emerging with long flowing hair. I like the way the angle of the head helps accentuate the flow of the hair which frames the face and the dramatic jaw line.
